💧 Embrace Change this World Water Week 💧

World Water Week sheds light on the global issue of water scarcity, but remember – small actions matter too! As individuals, we can make a difference every single day.

Here's how YOU can contribute to positive change in a water-scarce world:

🚰 Turn the Tap Off: A simple twist of the tap can save gallons of water. Don't let it run while brushing your teeth or doing dishes. Every drop counts!

🪣 Collect Rainwater: Install water buckets to catch rainwater. It's a natural resource waiting to be harnessed, perfect for your plants and garden.

🚿 Opt for Showers: Choose showers over baths. They're not only refreshing but use significantly less water. Efficiency meets self-care!

💦 Join the #RefillRevolution: Refill, don't landfill! Carry a reusable bottle and refill it wherever you go. Let's cut down on single-use plastics together.

🧽 Innovate for Impact: Use products designed to save water. Try dissolvable products like Tru Earth strips. Laundry and cleaning with a conscience!

🌱 Give Water a Second Life: Reuse household water from sinks and tumble dryers for a dual purpose. Water your plants or channel it back into the system, reducing waste.

Let's celebrate #WorldWaterWeek by committing to these everyday actions. 💪 Together, we can create a wave of positive change and ensure water for all, now and in the future. 💙🌍

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘀: Can textiles actually offer a positive solution towards the Climate Crisis, or is it just more spin?

The production of textiles is a resource-intensive process that involves the use of vast amounts of water, energy, and chemicals. The result is a large carbon footprint.

The textile industry is gradually shifting towards more sustainable practices. Sustainable textiles are made from materials that have a low environmental impact, such as organic cotton, wool, and linen.

These materials are grown without the use of harmful pesticides and fertilisers, which reduces the amount of chemicals released into the environment. Additionally, sustainable textiles are often made using processes that require less water and energy, which reduces the carbon footprint of the industry.

But, how do we shift towards more sustainable practices?
